Today marks the beginning or a new era; well at least for us here at The Mystic Mirror for this is our first entry in our new feature called The Alchemy of The Orbs.
In our first entry, I will be tuning into the Moon in Virgo, which currently is transiting through the 2nd house (depending on when you are reading this) and its alchemical influences: Salt (body), Mercury (psychology), and Sulphur (soul lessons).
However, I am crafting these entries to be more than just transit-oriented, for as you will soon see, the Moon in Virgo has many life lessons — not just today or for the next 2.5 days either.
My intention is that you can refer back to these “entried” and begin seeing the influences of The Orbs, how they affect your chart — your physiology, your psychology, and your initiatic virtues.
My goal is to have you innerstand the effects of how The Orbs; in this case, the Moon in Virgo, coagulate within your interior world. This is how we will come know ourselves in a much deeper capacity and essentially, move through the “challenges and obstacles with wisdom.
The Moon in Virgo not only happens to be the moon placement in my natal chart, but it’s the placement in the celestial heavens over the next 2.5 days represents what I am calling, The Healer’s Heart.
Virgo is a very important season in the zodiac because it attunes us with our need to serve humanity and to tune inward in order to healer oneself. Being the celestial force that rules the 6th house, it’s only natural that Virgo’s rulership of well-being and wholistic healing are of top priority for this “stellar virgin”.
Purification is the alchemy of this stellar virgin.
What better way to begin our journey together with alchemy (and astrology) and its effects on our alchemical constitution, than to decode the mystery teachings of: the Moon in Virgo in the 2nd House.

The Season of Virgo
Firstly, we need to recognize Virgo not as a constellation, but rather, a season. And while we tend to think of the seasons being: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter, I’ll be referring to those as “The Prima Tria of the Seasons”. I’ll explain more about this in future entries…
For now, let’s focus on the Season of Virgo as it sits in the 2nd house with the Moon.
Here's what the Season of Virgo symbolizes:
